Onyi Nwaneri is the Chief Executive Officer of Africa Transformation Services (ATS), bringing over 20 years of leadership experience across law, civil society, and social enterprise. A trained advocate and attorney with an LLM in Human Rights and Democratisation from the University of Pretoria and an MBA from GIBS, she has led major transformation efforts across the Afrika Tikkun Group — including as Group CEO overseeing a budget exceeding R500 million, and as CEO of Afrika Tikkun Services, where she grew the organisation from six employees to over 200 staff and R300 million in turnover — before serving as Managing Director of Sesame Workshop’s Sub-Saharan Africa operations. Known for her ethical, high-energy leadership, Onyi combines human rights expertise with operational excellence to build resilient organisations that deliver sustainable, community-led impact, and has been honoured with the Social Impact Leader of the Year Award, the Women Changing the World Humanitarian Impact Award, and the Gauteng Women in Excellence Award.
